Amy Karyn started her company in 1992 with a line of pillows designed and constructed of antique fabrics, today antique and unusual textiles are still the main component of the company. The catalogue of fabrics consists of over 35 patterns with a range of colour ways available in each pattern. Every pattern on the line is hand-printed in the United States on linen or raw silk using a meticulous silk screening process that includes prints utilizing up to 12 screens.

For over 25 years her line of fabrics has been used in the design industry and has been further defined through continuous collaborations in the industry. These collaborations have included the design and production of private label lines for clients such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Fortunoff, Ethan Allen and ABC Carpet and Home.

In 2003 Amy was licensed to work with Lee Industries to produce a line of antique inspired furniture and an exclusive collection of fabrics distributed across the U.S. In 2011 she developed textile collections for Chris Stone and from 2011-2015 she was represented by the Jerry Pair Showrooms in NY, NY, Atlanta, GA and Hollywood, FL.

She opened her first retail location in 2006 in Princeton, NJ showcasing her textiles, home furnishings, antiques, and fine artwork. Clients have since enlisted her services to deliver her unique style to their homes and her business as an interior designer continues to expand from her showroom (now located in Hopewell, NJ).

The Amy Karyn showroom is open to the public and the trade and stocks a fine selection of furniture and including a range of 20th century case goods, fine pottery artwork and rugs. She is known for her distinct and sophisticated taste, her eye for artisanal antiques and her line of hand-printed textiles consisting of over 35 patterns.
