DESIGN SERVICES AND FEES

IN-HOME DESIGN CONSULTATION (WITHIN A 30-MILE RADIUS)

A designer will meet with you in your home to discuss the aesthetics and design needs of your space. This will include measuring, photographing, and the review of images you have pulled in preparation for the meeting. A complimentary in-store design meeting following your initial consultation is included..........$400.00

IN-HOME DESIGN CONSULTATION (OUTSIDE OF THE 30-MILE RADIUS)

Same service as above. Please note that in addition to the day rate, travel expenses in the amount of $0.75 per mile, hotel and airfare will be billed to you..........$750.00

WINDOW TREATMENT CONSULTATION (WITHIN A 30-MILE RADIUS)

A designer will visit your home, along with a professional window installer, to discuss with you and measure the windows you wish to have designed by Amy Karyn Home ..........$275.00

ONE-HOUR IN-STORE DESIGN CONSULTATION

A designer will meet with you in our store to discuss your design needs. As the Client, you will be expected to provide photos and floor plans of your home at the time of the meeting as well as inspiration images you have gathered..........$150.00/hour

DESIGN AND RESEARCH

After your initial and follow-up design consultations, your designer will begin the Design and Research phase, which strongly enhances the design of your home. This involves gathering fabrics to round out the determined color story, space planning, sourcing furniture, decorative objects, and window treatments. The research process and fee assumes that the Client will purchase products directly through Amy Karyn Home..........$115.00/hour

DESIGNER ASSISTED PERSONAL SHOPPING

This service is for a designer’s time outside of the Amy Karyn Home store, which includes, but not limited to, any additional time at the Client’s home, paint consultation, window treatment measurement, and accessorizing..........$150.00/hour

DEPOSITS

Special order merchandise requires a 50% deposit at the time of sale with balance being collected when item ships. All special orders must be paid in full before delivery can be confirmed. The Client understands that special order merchandise is being expressly ordered to meet Client’s specifications and considered a final sale. Special orders must be cancelled within 2 business days of date of order for full refund. Thereafter, Amy Karyn Home will retain a cancellation fee of 25% of the purchase price. Special orders may not be cancelled 10 days after date of order.  Payment is required in full for any special orders under $500..........TBD

ADDITIONAL FEES

The Client is responsible for any and all delivery fees which are to be paid directly to the delivery service at the time of delivery. A delivery estimate is available upon request..........TBD

RETAINER FEE

Depending on the scope of the project, this fee may be requested upon the agreement between Amy Karyn Home and the Client which will be credited to the Client’s account toward design fees, freight and balances due at the completion of the project...........TBD

CREATIVE CONCEPTS

This fee applies if you are only interested in a designer from Amy Karyn Home creating design concepts and space plans with the intention of purchasing product elsewhere. Payment is required in full prior to beginning of any Creative Concepts design work. Note that this fee does not apply to any new structural plans, which will be determined on an individual basis..........$750.00/room
